Nancy Ann (Hillegass) Garland

Mrs. Nancy Ann  Garland,  66, of White Sulphur Lane, Manns Choice, died at 10:10 AM, Monday, December 22nd, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin.

Mrs. Garland was born in Bedford on Sunday, February 1, 1948,  the daughter of the late James and June (Bailey) Hillegass.

On June 26, 1983, she married Larry C. Garland.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Pebbles E. wife of  John Isenhour, Hickory, NC; Son- Chad E. Stone, York; Daughter- Kristin J. Garland and significant other Chris Ferguson, Manns Choice; Son- Shane E. Garland, Manns Choice; Sister- Donna Hillegass, North Carolina; Brother- James Hillegass, Jr., South Carolina; Sister- Flo Howsare, Schellsburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Andrew Hefner, Matthew Isenhour, Kyley Stone, Logan Wilson & Aiden Wilson, and two great granddaughters, Taylor & Allison Hefner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Connie "Bert" Nugent and a brother, George Hillegass.

Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Manns Choice United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren, especially reading to them.  Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 26th, 2014 with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
