Nancy L. (Beegle) Rock

Mrs. Nancy L. Rock, 75, of Egolf Road, Bedford, passed away at 10:50 AM, Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Rock was born in Snake Spring Township on Friday, August 7, 1936,  the daughter of H. Virginia (Carl) Beegle of Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin and the late Dale  S. Beegle

On December 28, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, Bernard J. Rock.

In addition to her husband and mother,  she is survived by Daughter- Kendra wife of  Wade Popelish, Bedford; Daughter- Nerissa wife of  Michael Foor, Boonville, IN; Brother- Robert husband of  Patricia (Calhoun) Beegle, Bedford; Brother- Randy husband of  Sharon (Cornell) Beegle, Bedford; Sister-in-Law- Joan (Feathers) Beegle, Bedford. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Andrew and Nathan Smouse and Shirah and Elias Foor.  She was preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin Jae Rock, a brother Carl Beegle and a sister, Sally Beegle.

Nancy was a member of the Yeager Lutheran Church in Rainsburg.  She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her loving husband, daughters, sons-in-law and her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating.

Interment  will be held at the Bedford Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
