Nancy L. Layton

Nancy Lee Layton, 91, formerly of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Rebecca's Personal Care Home, Everett.

Nancy was born in Bedford on November 13, 1932, daughter of the late Victor and Nellie (Shilling) Dull.

She was the widow of Melvin J. Layton. She is survived by son- David (Gail) Layton, of Mechanicsburg; daughter- Lucy Layton, of Lawton; four grandchildren: Alaina, Alyssa, Kellie, and Melissa; twelve great-grandchildren; brother- Gary Dull, of Bedford; brother- Wayne Dull, of Bedford; and sister- Toot. Nancy is preceded in death by son- Melvin Layton and siblings: John, Tom, Dean Dull, Leona, Eleanor, and Jean Huntsman.

Nancy was affiliated with Tulls Hill Bible Church. She enjoyed playing the guitar and loved animals.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA.
