Nancy Faye (Hershberger) Hinson

Nancy Faye (Hershberger) Hinson, 88, of Palmyra, Pennsylvania walked into the arms of Jesus on April 26, 2023.

Nancy was born in Bedford on March 31, 1935, daughter of the late Charles D. and Ruth (Knee) Hershberger.

On June 6, 1952, she married her husband Robert A. Hinson, who preceded her in death on July 8, 2014.

She is survived by daughter- Glenda Inch, of Palmyra; daughter- Sandra Zimmerman, of Harrisburg; daughter- Rhonda Murray, of Ellicott City, MD; daughter- Connie Biselx, of Moorhead, MN; son- William Hinson, of Dillsburg; son- Wayne Hinson, of Latrobe; brother- Ronald Hershberger, of FL; along with 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by sisters Izola (Hershberger) Whitehead, Violet Hershberger and brothers Charles Hershberger and Maynard Hershberger.

Nancy was a member of East Shore Baptist Church in Harrisburg, for 15 years. She was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Bedford.

She was known for her green thumb, Crochet projects, plastic-canvas gifts and assisting the quilt ministry for Lutheran Missions. She loved her family and community well. She was quick to help anyone in need, whether it was providing childcare, making meals, cleaning or just supporting a friend.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1-2 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church in Bedford.
