Mrs. Monica R. Toddie, 49, of Lincoln Highway, Manns Choice, went home to be with the Lord after a courageous fight with cancer at 11:36 PM, Friday, May 16th, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Toddie was born in Seattle, WA on Tuesday, September 15, 1964, the daughter of Susan (Grinhaug) Ramanauskas of Rochester, MN and the late Leonas Ramanauskas.
On June 11, 1988, she married Jay R. Toddie. In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother and Son- Justin Lee Toddie, Rochester, MN; Brother- Eric husband of Ruth Ramanauskas, Woodbridge, VA; Sister- Lisa Ramanauskas wife of Scott Finley, Rochester, MN; Brother- Kirk husband of Suzi Ramanauskas, Cleveland, OH; Sister- Natalie wife of Isaac Calderan, Cathedral City, CA. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Brian, maternal grandparents, Carl & Alvina Grinhaug and paternal grandparents, Emilia & Lee Ramanauskas.
Monica was a member of the Alum Bank United Methodist Church. She graduated from Winona University in Winona, MN with a B.A. in Business Marketing. Monica was employed for 15 years as a caseworker for Bedford Somerset MHMR. She loved all animals, especially horses and enjoyed yard sales, picture scrapbooking, flowers and gardening, as long as there were no snake present. Monica also took pleasure from reading, particularly religious devotionals and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at Alum Bank United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014 with Rev. Dave Zona officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville and on Thursday from 10:30 -11:00 AM at the church.
