Miyoko "Mickey" Bush

Miyoko "Mickey" Bush, 86, Donahoe Manor Road of Bedford, died at 8:25 PM, Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Bush was born in Gumaken, Japan, on November 8, 1932,  daughter of the late ToJo Takahashi.

She was the wife of Kenneth J. Bush, MSG USAF retired. In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Kenneth W. Bush Colonel (Chaplain) US Army retired husband of  Kathy Bush, Williamsburg, VA; Son- Howard husband of  Cathy (Egolf) Bush, Schellsburg; Daughter- Kimi Bush, State College. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren as well as a Brother and Sister in Japan.

Mickey was one of the first employees at Cannondale where she was a seamstress for 30 years. Throughout her life Mickey sewed for Base Families and would always help anyone and everyone in a time of need.

She was a member of the St. Paul’s Reformed Church, Bedford.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 17, 2018 from Noon -2PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 17th,  with Pastor Howard Sloan officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park Bedford, PA.
