Mildred Verbal Miller

Mrs. Mildred Verbal Miller, 74, of E. Pitt St., Bedford, died at 9:28 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Miller was born in Bergoo, WV on Saturday, February 20, 1937,  the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Agnes (McCollan) Nelson.

She is survived by  Daughter- Terri C. (Pencil) wife of  Amos Shipley, Moon Twp.; Daughter- Trina C. (Miller) Dull, Centerville; Sister- Roberta wife of  Ronald Barb, Cumberland; Sister- Mary Agnes widow of  Ken Fretwell, Cumberland; Brother- Robert husband of  Sherry (Clark) Verbal; Sister-in-Law- Lois Roy, Cumberland. She is also survived by three grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Cassidy, Chance and Ashton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Roy, Sr.


Mildred was a member of Bedford United Methodist Church.  She was a graduate of Pronto's Beauty School in Altoona and worked as a beautician for many years.  Mildred was also employed as a bank teller and worked at various banks in the Bedford and Everett area.  She also worked at Kennametal and retired from Wal Mart.  .

A Memorial Service will be held at Bedford Valley Bible Church, Centerville at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 26th, 2011 with Pastor John Hollis officiating.

Interment will be held at  Mill Creek Cemetery, Randolph County, WV.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from Noon - 1:00 PM at the church.
