Michael P. Bridges

Michael P. Bridges, 41, of Bedford Valley Road, Bedford, PA , passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA.

Mr. Bridges was born in Bedford, PA on November 17, 1980, son of Larry Bridges and Laurie A. (Williams) Baker.

On June 18, 2011, Michael married Lashae (Mitchell) Bridges.

In addition to his wife he is survived by  Father- Larry Bridges and wife Tamie, Blue Knob, PA; Mother- Laurie Baker, Cumberland, MD; Daughter- Aubrie L. Bridges, at home; Daughter- Cassie A. Bridges, at home; Son- Colby Williams, at home; Grandmother Kathleen  Bridges, Centerville; Grandmother Phyllis College, Bedford; Sister- Amie wife of  Anthony Lynch, Chambersburg; Aunt Brenda wife of  Rob Amtower, Mt. Storm, WV; Aunt Tina Williams, Cumberland; Uncle Mark Bridges, Bedford; Uncle Bryan Bridges, Centerville; Uncle Wayne Bridges, Las Vegas; Uncle Larry Deremer, Bedford Valley; Father-in-law- Harry Mitchell, Imler; Brother-in-Law- Curtis husband of  Cayla Mitchell, Osterburg and numerous Nieces and Nephews.  Michael was preceded in death by Brother- Gary Mcquait, Grandfather- Frank Bridges and Mother-in-law- Lorrie Mitchell.

He was a Tree Trimmer at Integrity Tree Service.

Mike was the best dad, husband, son, grandson and friend you could ask for. He was always up for an adventure and loved to go on trips with his family. The OBX was his favorite. Mike enjoyed deep sea fishing, riding his side by side and watching the 49ers. Mike enjoyed races and hanging out in the garage and being the life of the party. He could light up a room as soon as he walked in, always joking around. Mike loved to order food and watch movies all day. Most of all Mike loved spending time with his family, they brought him great joy. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 30th, with Pastor Ken Hollis officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
