Michael Angelo, Jr.

Mr. Michael Angelo, Jr., 73, of Allegheny Road, Manns Choice, died Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center.
Mr. Angelo was born in Johnstown on Sunday, February 13, 1944, the son of the late Michael and Harriet (Krauth). He was reared by his grandparents - Francis and Marie Angelo.
On October 12, 1963, he married Agnes C. (Smith) Angelo. In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his daughter, Lori and husband, David Gibboney of Hamstead, NC and his special friends and faithful caregivers, Matthew and Jennifer Foor of New Cumberland. He was preceded in death by is son, Michael Angelo, III.
Mike served 30 years in the US Navy, retiring from the Fleet Reserve as a Master Chief in 1991. He then went on to work as a mechanic and a farmer. Mike was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Pleasantville VFW Post #9219 & the New Baltimore Sportsmen Club. He was a wonderful husband and a loyal friend and he will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
