Mary Lucille (Glotfelty) Cessna
May 2, 1919 — February 13, 2016
Mrs. Cessna was born in McHenry, Garrett County, MD on Friday, May 2, 1919, the daughter of the late Howard and Lula (Broadwater) Glotfelty.
On September 1st, 1950, she married Clarence M. "Sambo" Cessna. In addition to her husband she is survived by Sister- Grace Boldt, Akron, OH and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Glass and two brothers, Hubert Glotfelty & Blaine Glotfelty.
Mary attended Catherman's Business School. She was employed for 33 years as a key punch operator for Kelly Springfield in Cumberland, MD, retiring in 1974. Mary was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #322 in Cumberland, MD. She was a kind and soft spoken lady and a great homemaker for she and her husband. Mary will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 18th, 2016 with Pastor Joyce Hillegass officiating.
Interment will be held at Woods Church Cemetery, Colerain Twp.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
