Mary Lou Wolfhope, 83 of Martinsville Indiana died Friday August 18, 2017 in Waters of Martinsville. She was born May 8, 1934 in Fort Wayne Indiana to the late Chester & Leota Dale Diehl. Mary Lou and her husband Jim owned and operated a locksmith shop in Martinsville for many years. She is survived by her two sons, James (Lynn) Wolfhope of Indianapolis and Rick Wolfhope of Martinsville, her granddaughter Cassie, three grandsons Jared, Jordan, Justin and her great-granddaughter Isabella, her brother Chet Diehl of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis “Jim” Wolfhope, her sister Pat Fisher and two brothers Donald and Robert Diehl. The family will receive friends Thursday August 24 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. A Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday August 25 at 1 pm in St. John the Baptist Church in New Baltimore, with burial next to her husband Jim to follow in St. John Baptist Cemetery
