Mary Catherine Beegle

Mrs. Mary Catherine  Beegle, 81, of Grandview Ave., Everett, died Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at Homewood in Martinsburg.

Mrs. Beegle was born in Pittsburgh on Friday, February 8, 1935, the daughter of the late Arlo and Bertha (Harrison) Mowry.

On February 16, 1957, she married Samuel M. Beegle.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Steven husband of Joann (Miller) Beegle, Schellsburg; Son- Mark husband of Eva (Schultz) Beegle, Schellsburg; Daughter- Betsy wife of Felician Yangilmau, Glen Dale, MD; Daughter- Amy wife of Robert Uccellini, Hedgesville, WV; Grandchildren- Joseph, Stephen, Adam, Cashia, Nicole, Stacie, Hanna, Samantha, Katie, Emma, Nicholas, Alexander & Zachary; Great Grandchildren- Kara, Brenna, Aubrie & Alexander; Brother- Doug Miller, Hyndman; Brother- Craig Miller, Cumberland, MD; Sister- Joyce Brallier, Centerville.

Mary Catherine was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Bedford.  She was a 1952 graduate of Schellsburg High School and a 1955 graduate of the nursing training program at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.  Mary Catherine then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1984.  She was employed as a school nurse by the Chestnut Ridge School District until her retirement in 1994.  Mary Catherine was an expert quilter and enjoyed gardening and golfing.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 with Rev. Steve Egbert officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
