Mary Annette "Annie" (Leppert) Mitchell

Mrs. Mary Annette "Annie" Mitchell, 76, of Hinson Road, New Paris, died at 2:46 AM, Friday, April 5th, 2013 at Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Schellsburg on Monday, May 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Earl H. and Leona A. (Fleegle) Leppert.
On October 23, 1954, she married Lewis H. Mitchell. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2003.
She is survived by Son- Paul E. husband of Kathy (Wentz) Leppert, Osterburg; Daughter- Donna Rae wife of Richard Grimes, Paris, AR; Daughter- Lucinda J. wife of George Mosser, Queen; Daughter- Tara Ann Mitchell, Schellsburg; Daughter- Charlene Lu Mitchell, New Paris; Son- Douglas T. husband of Sudan (Barger) Mitchell, New Paris; Son- Lewis F. "Frank" Mitchell, New Paris; Brother- Robert H. husband of Jane Leppert, Bedford; Sister- Ellen wife of Robert Mitchell, Alum Bank; Sister- Audrey L. Faulders, Edwardsville, IL; Sister- Carol V. Sigler, Midland, TX; Sister- R. Jane Smith, Schellsburg; Sister- Margaret Robertson, Manns Choice; Brother- Henry Leppert husband of Carol, New Paris. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a sister June and a brother Harry.
Annie retired from MHMR, where she worked in the residential program. She was a member of the Pleasantville VFW Post #9219 Ladies Auxiliary.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 8th, 2013 with Pastor James Espenshade officiating.
Interment will be held at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
