Mary Agnes (Waltman) Calhoun

Mrs. Mary Agnes (Waltman) Calhoun, 83, of Bedford, passed away at 1:35 PM, Friday, October 24th, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Calhoun was born in Bedford on Sunday, July 5, 1931,  the daughter of the late Halleck R. and M. Irene (Winesickle) Waltman.

On May 19, 1949, she married Guy M. Calhoun in Cumberland, MD.

In addition to her husband  of 65 years, she is survived by Son- Guy R. husband of  Joyce (Berkey) Calhoun, Bedford; Daughter- Barbara J. wife of  Michael Arnold, Bedford; Son- David D. husband of  Diane (Miller) Calhoun, Dillsburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Stephanie A. Kuhns, Michelle L. Gounaris, Guy M. Calhoun, II, Jennifer S. Schultz, Erin L. Thompson, Joshua C. Grine, Travis A. Grine, Angela L. Small & Sara M. Calhoun, and eleven great grandchildren plus three on the way.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Sue, a son, Roger Eugene and a brother Vernon Oscar.

Mary Agnes was a graduate of Bedford Area High School, Class of 1949.  She was a loving spouse and mother, who enjoyed taking care of her family and home.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford. at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 28th,  2014 with Pastor Sandra Ibarra officiating.

Interment will be held at Trans Run Cemetery.

At Mary's request, there will not be a public viewing.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bedford.
