Mary Virginia (Jones) Wiles

Mrs. Mary Virginia Wiles, 92, of Grove Lane, Schellsburg, died at 10:25 AM, Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Wiles was born in Delmont on Friday, August 11, 1922,  the daughter of the late William and Elva Mae (Littleton) Jones.

On May 29, 1941, she married Earl W. Wiles.  He preceded her in death on December 26, 2002.

She is survived by  Daughter- Mary K. wife of  Paul Anischenko, Fishertown; Daughter- Bonita E. Minarchin, Schellsburg; Son- David G. Wiles, Windber; Daughter-in-Law- Sheila Wiles, Windber; Brother- Edward Jones, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren,  5 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Jones, Merle Jones, Roger Jones, John Jones & Albert Jones and by four sisters, Elizabeth Littleton, Luella Lewis, Margaret Jones & Florence Jones.

Mrs. Wiles was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasantville Assembly of God Church.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 with Pastor Brad Price officiating.

Interment will be held at  Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
