Marshall E. Morgart

Mr. Marshall E. Morgart, 82, of Mile Level Road, Bedford, died Sunday, April 7th, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Morgart was born in Johnstown on Monday, December 25, 1930,  the son of the late John and Olive (Helsel) Morgart.

On July 16, 1987, he married Sharon L. (Vann) Morgart. In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Rex husband of  Patty Morgart, Johnstown; Daughter- Linda wife of  Duane Roberts, Johnstown; Son- Marshall Morgart, Jr., Virginia; Son- Randy husband of  Kathi Morgart, Virginia; Daughter- Janet wife of Reed Mardis, Virginia; Daughter- Leah wife of  David Stewart, Florida. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Marshall was also survived by a brother and a sister.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Yvonne (Quarry) Morgart, his daughter, Terri Morgart and by 15 brothers and sisters.

Marshal was affiliated with the Community Grace Brethren Church.  He was retired from US Steel in Johnstown where he worked as a chipper in the foundry.  Marshall enjoyed fishing, gospel music and was a proud John Wayne fan.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford,  at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 with Tom Smith officiating.

Interment will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 12 Noon at the funeral home in Bedford.
