Marsha A. Suttmiller

Marsha A. Suttmiller, 61, of Glen Savage Road, Fairhope passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ms. Suttmiller was born in Snake Spring Twp., on November 21, 1960, daughter of the late Donald M. “Duck” and Ann Mae (Toth) Suttmiller.

Marsha is survived by her children: daughter- Misty D. wife of Eric Wilson, Lewisberry, PA; son- Josh E. husband of Andrea (Beachley) Milburn, Berlin, PA; daughter- Jodie Kostryk and fiancé Bruce Charles, Greensburg; son- Andrew D. Suttmiller and fiancé Janelle Wright, Berlin; 6 grandchildren; step-mother- E. Imogene “Genie” (Shockley) Suttmiller, Everett; sister- Dianne wife of Landford Gates, Schellsburg; sister- Sondra wife of Charles Corle, Jr., Osterburg; sister- Sharon Suttmiller and significant other Ron Fleegle, Schellsburg; step-sister- Mary Lake, Stephens City, VA and step-sister- Amy wife of Kenny Martin, Woodstock, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ann Mae Suttmiller.

Marsha was a 1978 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School.

She worked at REI Bedford where she was a clerk.

Marsha was a kind-hearted and loving mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marsha enjoyed being outside and listening to the birds, she also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. She was happiest at the beach with her feet in the sand and listening to the waves.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 3-5PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with a Funeral Service at 5:00PM.
