Marl Heidorn

Mr. Marl  Heidorn, 62, of Spring St., Bedford, died Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Heidorn was born in Bedford on Friday, October 24, 1952, the son of the late Walter and Marlin (Smith) Heidorn.

On April 8, 1972, he married Betty (Miller) Heidorn.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Roxan wife of  Donald Detwiler, Martinsburg; Daughter- Melinda Heidorn, Bedford; Son- John Heidorn, Bedford; Brother- Rick Heidorn, Everett; Sister- Lisa Heidorn, Bedford; Brother- Kevin Imgrund, Lebanon; Brother- Gregory Imgrund, California; Sister- Bridget Jarsulic, Pittsburgh; Sister- Maura Clapper, Bedford; Brother- Matt Imgrund, Texas; Brother- Kris Imgrund, Georgia; Sister- Bernie Imgrund-Smith, Altoona. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Imgrund.

Marl was a member of the Bedford Bible Church.  He was employed as a custodian at the Bedford Area School District. Marl enjoyed taking day trips with Betty and his family.  He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 with Pastor Rex Lusk officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
