Mark A. Stern

Mark A. Stern, 73, of New Paris, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Mark was born in Somerset on June 15, 1951, son of the late Frank and Ethel (Gardner) Stern.

On June 9, 1973, he married his wife Deborah K. (Lowry) Stern, of New Paris.

He is survived by daughter- Nikki R. wife of David Stirling, of Lancaster; daughter- Robyn L. wife of Kevin McMakin, of Alum Bank; son- Tate J. husband of Stacy (Jacobson) Stern, of FL; sister- Monna wife of Paul Overbeck, of Bedford; along with eight grandchildren: Cole, Scott, Addisyn, Jule, Daniel, Jason, Grace and Lily.

Mark was a member of Faith Brethren Bible Church. He enjoyed hunting, camping, woodworking, bird watching. Mark loved being outdoors. He was a truck driver all his life before he retired.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10-11 AM at Faith Brethren Bible Church, New Paris.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11 AM at Faith Brethren Bible Church with Pastor James Espenshade officiating.
