Marjorie L. (Foor) Diehl

Mrs. Marjorie L. Diehl, 87, of Sunnyside Road, Bedford, died at 9:25 AM, Sunday, November 24th, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Diehl was born in W. Providence Township, on Monday, July 19, 1926, the daughter of the late Albert J. and Hazel O. (Foor) Foor.

On February 24, 1954, she married David I. Diehl.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Thomas A. Baughman, Altoona; Son- David "Ed" husband of  Lisa Diehl, Everett; Son- Michael E. husband of  Tammy Diehl, Snake Spring Township; Son- Daniel I. husband of  Pat Diehl, Columbus, OH; Son- Steven J. Diehl, Duncansville; Daughter- Patricia Ann wife of  Chuck Imler, Fishertown; Sister- Katherine Becker, Williamsburg; Brother- James A. Foor, Johnstown; Sister- Audry Van Pelt, Breezewood; Brother- Gary L. Foor, Bedford and Sister-in-Law- JoAnn Foor.  Marjorie is also survived by eight grandchildren, Julian, Jen, Christen, Luke, Joshua, Daniel, Kayla and Haylea and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a grandson, David Jr., five brothers, Paul, Willis, Donald, Benjamin and Albert and by a sister, Dorothy Howsare.

Marjorie was affiliated with the Pennwood Bible Church in Bedford.  She was a homemaker and she was formeerly a bookkeeper at Sealtest.  Marjorie was a quilter and enjoyed singing with R.S.V.P.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27th,  2013 with Pastor Floyd Rinehart officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
