Mrs. Marjorie B. Stultz, 84, of Oak Lane, Everett died Monday, August 31st, 2015 at Pennknoll Village.
Mrs. Stultz was born in Everett on Sunday, August 9, 1931, the daughter of the late W. Stanley and Elda (Hockenberry) Bollman.
On January 19, 1949, she married Joseph E. Stultz. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1997.
She is survived by Daughter- Sheri Greenawalt-Dunkle wife of John Dunkle, Everett; Son- Jeffrey W. husband of Jeanie (Howsare) Stultz, Everett; Daughter- Lisa wife of Eddie Hershman, Everett; Son- Joseph D. Stultz & partner Jose Aguiar of Havertown; Grandchildren- Todd Greenawalt & Troy Greenawalt, Natalie Gay, April Foor, Alexis Martin, & Dena Sigler; 12 great grandchildren & numerous step grand and great grandchildren; Sister- Linda wife of Don Bigler, Mobile, AL; Aunt- Lorraine "Rainy" Vaughn, Everett. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gregory Stultz and by a brother, Marvin Bollman.
Marjorie was a member of the Everett Church of God where she taught Sunday School and was a devoted member of the Church Choir. She was a 1948 graduate of Bedford High School. Marjorie was President of Bollman Charter Service since 2001, and the owner and operator of Marjorie's Beauty Shop since 1955. In 1961, she was instrumental in forming the Bedford County Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association, of which she served as the first president. Marjorie was on the PA State Board of Cosmetologists and helped in the fight to keep the union out of the association.
She was a member of the Everett Junior Women's Club and served as president from 1956-1957 and again from 1963 - 1964. Marjorie helped organize fashion shows for the women's club and other organizations in the area. She was a member of the Fort Bedford Toastmistress Association and held several offices within the organization. Marjorie was also a former Girl Scout Leader.
Marjorie loved The Lord with her whole heart, followed by her love for her family. However, her passion in life was traveling on her motorcoaches and sharing her wealth of knowledge of the United States and Canada with the passengers. She loved arranging and escorting bus tours, which gave her much joy and happiness.
She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at the Everett Church of God at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 with Rev. William Kisner & Rev. Gary Boor officiating.
Interment will be held at Ritchey Cemetery, Snake Spring Twp. Marjorie's transportation will be via motor coach for her final journey on this earth.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford and Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.
