Marion E. (Turner) Leonard

Mrs. Marion E. Leonard, age 92, of Manns Choice,  , died at 7:20 AM , Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at UPMC Bedford.
Mrs. Leonard was born in Griffin, Georgia, on December 26, 1924,  she was the daughter of the late George H. and Eunice (Johnsey) Turner.
She worked as a dental assistant at the office of Dr. William O'Shurak in Bedford for 55 years, retiring in 2012.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Manns Choice..
Marion was a past president of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, Ladies Auxiliary and the Soroptimist Club of Bedford..
She was the widow of Paul R. Leonard, whom she married April 20, 1948 and he preceded her in death July 31 1993..
She is survived by  Daughter- Bedelia Von Paulhus, CA; Granddaughter Susan D. , Roper, CA; Granddaughter Karen Joseph, Herndon, VA; Sister- Colis I. Hudgins, Toledo, Ohio; Brother- George Turner, Jr..  She is also survived by four Great-grandchildren - Nicholas Paul Joseph, Madelian Joseph, Samuel Joseph & John B. Roper.
She is also survived by her devoted caregivers - Doris Werner and Barbara Carson.
A Private Graveside Funeral Service at Bedford County Memorial Park on Monday, June 26th,  with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.
