Marie K. (Karns) Greenawalt

Marie K. Greenawalt, 92, of Forest Road, Everett, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 11, 2020 at her home with her family surrounded.

Mrs. Greenawalt was born in Clearville, PA on May 17, 1927, daughter of the late Simon P. and Olive (Bequeath) Karns.

On July 3, 1945 Marie married George Greenawalt. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2002.

She is survived by  Daughter- Sandra L. wife of  Junior Moyer, Bedford; Son- Gary L. husband of  Gail (Rose) Greenawalt, Schellsburg; Daughter- Tamar "Tammy Demusz, Everett; Grandchildren Anita wife of  Mike Smith; Jerry husband of  Stacey (Lehman) Moyer; Todd husband of  Tonya (Lambert) Moyer; Troy husband of  Michele Moyer; Jeff husband of  Natasha (Matias) Ferguson; Jeremy Greenawalt and girlfriend Dani Nortman; Laurie Manges; Casey husband of  Katherine (Waish) Greenawalt; Kayla Greenawalt; Shain husband of  Linda (Dimond) Greenawalt; Tanya Woods and fiance Phil Ott; Great-grandchildren Michaela, Jared, Halee, Olivia, Charlee, Drake, Steffi, Duke, Joshua, Jacob, Shaunna, Brianna, Kayla, Michaiah, Silas, Nevaeh, Will, Tiffany, Jade, Javan, Liam, Ireland, Willow, Vanyon and Saige. Brother- Wilbert husband of Shirley (Mickle) Karns, Alum Bank; Sister- Martha Mae "Marty" wife of Tom Tomlinson, Lancaster; Brother- Robert "Bob" Mellott, Everett; Brother- Dean husband of Marlene Wise, TX.  Along with her husband, Marie was preceded in death by Sisters- June Hancock, Stella Reed and Bessie Bloom and Brother- John Raymond Wise.

She worked at Kennametal in Bedford as a Laborer.

Marie was an avid Bowler and loved playing cards. She was a fun loving person who will be greatly missed by all.

She was a member of  Everett Church of God

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park at a later date.
