Mrs. Margaret  Titter, 85, of Victoria Ave., Everett, formerly of West Chester, went home to her Lord at 9:50 PM, Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Titter was born in West Chester on Thursday, December 8, 1927,  the daughter of the late George W. and Sara (Crosley) Smith.

She was married to William W. Titter, Jr.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Wally husband of  Tammy (Moore) Titter, Buffalo Mills; Son- Bruce husband of  Carol (Gensel) Titter, Huntington Mills; Brother- William Smith and wife Ann, Pottstown. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Diane Titter, Carlisle and Matt Titter and wife Megan, Bloomsburg.   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Baldwin and two brothers Harry and George Smith

Margaret was a member of the Goshen Baptist Church in West Chester, where she was the pianist and organist for 15 years.  She was a devoted secretary and helper to her husband in their successful lawn & garden equipment business for 23 years.

Margaret attended the Pennwood Bible Church in Everett.  "Peggy" loved being with and caring for her family.  Her home is filled with photos and memoirs of the wonderful times spent with her husband, sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren.  She was strong in her Christian faith and lived each day serving the Lord.  Her gentle strength and presence will be deeply missed by all her family.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2013  with Pastor Floyd Rinehart officiating.

Interment will be held at Grove Methodist Cemetery, West Chester.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bedford.
