Margaret JoAn (Pensyl) Sleaster

Margaret JoAn Sleaster,72, of  Bedford, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Mrs. Sleaster was born in Bedford on December 23, 1947, daughter of the late Milton and Geraldine (Benna) Pensyl.

JoAn was married to Lonnie L. Sleaster together they shared 41 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2006.

She is survived by  Daughter- Sandy M. Sleaster, Bedford; Son- Lonnie L. Sleaster, Jr., Hagerstown, MD; Son- Dean C. Sleaster, Bedford; Sister- Nancy Wright, Bedford.  JoAn was preceded in death by brother- Charles Pensyl and sister- Catherine Tew.

JoAn was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Bedford.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, listening to music, animals and spending time with family and friends. JoAn was a very dear lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
