Margaret "Peggie" Scritchfield

Margaret "Peggie" Scritchfield, 78, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Margaret was born in Manns Choice on December 24, 1946, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Margaret (Bagley) Scritchfield.

She is survived by daughter- Nancy wife of William Davis, of Bedford; daughter- Lauri Vasso, of Harrisburg; son- Gary "Ted" Oyler, of Harrisburg; son- Andrew Oyler, of Millersburg; granddaughters: Peggie Vasso, Serenity Shomo, and grandson- Mark Messer, along with numerous great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Margaret is preceded in death by grandson- Steven Messer, and brothers: Samuel, Joel, Rickie, Dave Scritchfield; and sisters: Shirley Grasser, Charlotte Wertz, Alonda Braman.

A private graveside service will be held at the request of the family.

Interment will be at Dry Ridge Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
