Margaret D. (Neptune) Godwin

Mrs. Godwin was born in Johnstown on Monday, May 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Huston and Mary Alice (Bidelman) Neptune.
On September 8, 1950, she married Douglas Lee Godwin. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2011.
She is survived by Daughter- Theresa R. Cragan, Bedford; Daughter- Mary Kate wife of Mark Spangler, Bedford; Daughter- Violet Timmons, Greencastle; Son- Huston L. Godwin, Bedford. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Dylan, Ricky, Aaron Jamie & Jillian, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William "Bill" Neptune and Terrance Neptune.
Margaret was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett and was an antique dealer in Bedford. She was also a talented artist, and took painting lessions at the Foundry in Everett and she acted in the productions at The Playhouse at Old Bedford Village. Margaret was also an avid card player.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 with Father Derek Fairman celebrant.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
