Margaret E. "Peggy" ((Wolfhope)) Felton

August 21, 1925 — December 31, 2018

Mrs. Margaret/Peggy/Mammy (Wolfhope) Felten, 93, of Daveys Lane, Manns Choice, died peacefully at 1:45PM, Monday, December 31st, 2018 surrounded by her family and the loving Sisters of Garvey Manor in Hollidaysburg.

Mrs. Felten was born in the New Baltimore area on August 21st, 1925, daughter of the late Clement and Theresa (Restelli) Wolfhope. She grew up with six other brothers and sisters, and she graduated from Berlin Brothersvalley schools.

On November 28, 1946, she married the love of her life, Lloyd C. Felten, who preceded her in death on May 23rd, 2011. She is survived by sister Rita Bailey, and Daughter- Nancy C. wife of Earnest Diehl, Manns Choice; Daughter- Kathleen wife of James Thompson, Cypress, TX; She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Dan Diehl, Andrew Diehl, Valleri Weyant, Melissa Felten, Brian Thompson, Christopher Thompson, and was preceded in death by grandson James Lloyd Thompson. Mammy was blessed with seven great grandchildren, Drew H., Max, and Chloe Diehl; Theresa and Anthony J. Weyant; and Jack and Annaliesa Diehl; and two great-great children, Johnathan Lloyd and Charlotte Grace.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Sarver, and by four brothers, Barney, Mark, Joseph, and Robert.

She was the administrative assistant, bookkeeper, and partner in Manns Choice Amoco. She loved camping and traveling with Lloyd, reading, and was noted as the best cook in the family.

She was previously a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore, and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Bedford where she served as a Eucharistic minister.

The family would like to thank all of the Sisters and staff of Garvey Manor in Hollidaysburg for their gracious and caring support during Margaret/Peggy/Mammy’s final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 5th, 2018, with Father Mark Pattock, OFMcap, as celebrant.  At her request there will be no viewing. Friends and family will be received for a memorial luncheon following the
Committal Services which will be held at St. John's Cemetery, New Baltimore immediately following the Mass.
