Mabel L. (Callihan) Leonard

Mrs. Mabel L. Leonard,  80, of Leonard Road, Alum Bank, died at 8:20 PM, Monday, February 17th, 2014 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Leonard was born in W. St. Clair Township on Monday, March 13, 1933,  the daughter of the late Harry Loy and Margaret (Darr) Callihan.

On March 5, 1952, she married Robert C. Leonard.  He preceded her in death on August 31, 2000.

She is survived by  Daughter- Veron widow of  David Stigers, New Paris; Son- Robert Dale husband of  Tammy (Ickes) Leonard, Osterburg; Son- William K. husband of  Linda (Moorhead) Leonard, Alum Bank; Daughter- Sheila Leonard, Alum Bank; Daughter- Brenda L. wife of  Steve Uber, Manns Choice; Son- Donald A. husband of  Susan (Amick) Leonard, Alum Bank; Son- David D. husband of  Kathy (Appleby) Leonard, Fishertown, Daughter-in-law - Kandice (Foor) Leonard, Osterburg. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Leonard, two brothers, Clark & Howard Callihan and three sisters, Dora Ferguson, Ruth Heidorn and Veron Barnhart.

Mabel was a homemaker and a member of the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren.

A Funeral Service will be held at Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 with Pastor Robert Thacker & Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville.
