Mabel I. Koontz

Ms. Mabel I. Koontz, 95, of Circle K Drive, Bedford, died Sunday, January 28th, 2018 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.

Ms. Koontz was born in Bedford on June 3, 1922,  the daughter of the late Paul W. and Hester (Dibert) Koontz.

She is survived by  Sister- Anna Pearl Statler, Bedford; Sister-in-Law- Ruth Koontz, Bedford and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willard Koontz and Fred Koontz and by her sister, Mae Holsinger.

Mabel was a member of the St. Paul's Reformed Church in Bedford.  She worked for many years as a clerk at G.C. Murphy's.  Mabel loved to spend time with her family.  She was a lovely woman, an amazing sister, a wonderful aunt and a great friend.  She will be truly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 with Rev. Howard Sloan officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
