Mrs. Lucy May Pittman, 72, of Rush Street, Everett, passed away Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Pittman was born in Fishertown on Wednesday, November 5, 1941,  the daughter of the late Theodore and Gladys (O'Neal) Conrad.

On April 9, 1958, she married Richard H. Pittman.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Ruth Ann wife of Alan Guy, Tennessee; Son- James H. husband of Janet (Snyder) Pittman, Everett; Son- Anthony T. husband of Lisa (Robison) Pittman, Everett; Daughter- Rose R. wife of Dwight Diehl, Everett; Son- Joseph L. Pittman and longtime companion Nancy Ritchey, Everett; Daughter- Elizabeth M. wife of William Dunkle, Everett; Sister- Opal Glackin, Pittsburgh; Sister- Rosalie Frey, Chambersburg; Brother- Vincent Conrad, Patton; Brother- James husband of Dorothy "Dot" Conrad, Fayettesville. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Clarissa Nail, Summer Stiffler, James A. Pittman, Andrew Pittman, Elizabeth K. Pittman, Christine Pittman, Anthony V. Pittman, Jennifer Treece, Dwight H. Diehl, Krystal Little, Katlyn Diehl & William C. Dunkle, and five great granddaughters, Kiera, Savannah, Karah, Harmony & Emily. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Ella, a brother Richard Conrad and a sister, Florence Fisher.

Lucy was a homemaker and later in life worked in housekeeping at the Gateway Travel Plaza.  She was a wonderful baker and an expert in canning.  Lucy loved flowers and working in her flower gardenand enjoyed doing needlework, especially embroidery.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and she will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held  at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 10th, 2014 with Pastor Debi Decker officiating.

Interment will be held at  Cherry Lane Cemetery, Clearville.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Everett.
