Louis F. Toke, 67, Monument Road, Bedford died suddenly on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Mr. Toke was born in Rahway, NJ on January 8, 1951; he was the son of the late Louis and Helen (Jeney) Toke.

Louis was the husband of Beverly A. (Wolf) Toke, whom he married on August 20, 1988.

Along with his wife Louis is survived by Son-Joseph R. Toke, Harrisburg; Daughter -Elizabeth M. wife of Dorsey Wertz, Buffalo Mills, and Daughter- Jenny R. wife of Kevin Mihailovich, Cumberland, MD.

He is also survived by four grandchildren; Savannah, Kevin, Rowen and Alethea.

He is preceded in death by his sister Barbara.

Louis graduated from Kean College in Union, NJ with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.

Mr. Toke was an Environmental Scientist at Three Mile Island in Middletown for 20 years. Louis was also the Co-Owner and Manager of Acorn Acres Deer Farm.

He was a member of Bedford American Legion Post #113 and VFW Post 7527 as well as a member of the PA Deer Farmers Association.

Louis served in the Army during Vietnam War.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Bedford at 10:00AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 with Father Richard Tomkosky – Celebrant.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg where a Vigil for the deceased will be held.

Committal at Milligans Cove Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
