Lois Jean Dunmeyer

Lois "Jean"  Dunmeyer, 52, of Sam Street, Bedford, died at 11:22 PM, Thursday, December 18th, 2014 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Jean was born in Somerset on Wednesday, March 14, 1962,  the daughter of Lester James Dunmeyer, Sr. of Johnstown and the late Nancy Jane (Warrick) Duncan.

She was the companion of Ronald Lindsey for almost 35 years.

In addition to her father and Ron, she is survived by  Son- Bobbie husband of  Amanda (Smith) Dunmeyer, Fishertown; Daughter- Christy Lindsey, at home; Son- Adam Lindsey, at home; Sister- Deb wife of  Donnie Barron, Somerset; Brother- Lester James Dunmeyer, Jr. husband of  Diana (Wright) Dunmeyer, Bedford; Brother- Robert Dunmeyer, Bedford; Sister- Cathy Dunmeyer, Bedford; Sister- Shelly wife of  Bill Saunders, Bedford. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nevanaeh, Nelyze & Joddan and one grandson due in a few weeks, several stepbrothers & a stepsister and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three stepbrothers, Tom, Jim & Brian Duncan.

Jean was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be remembered for her kindness, patience and her willingness to help anyone.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
