Lois "Sally" A. Diehl

Lois A. "Sally" Diehl, 87, of Friends Cove, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 10, 1937, the daughter of the late Dorsey and Lois (Way) Weyant.

She was married to Robert E. "Bob" Diehl on January 24, 1959.

She is survived by daughter, Denise Sollenberger & husband Mark of New Enterprise and twin sons, Barry & Kerry Diehl of Friends Cove.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Andrew Sollenberger, married to Lashae Ellis, Daniel Sollenberger married to Heather Shanholtz, and Matthew Sollenberger married to Katie Morral. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Jacob, Scarlette, Elsie, and Avenelle. She was preceded in death by brothers Dorsey (Lamont), Larry (Bud), Reed, Eddie, Neil and a sister Audrey (Jean). She is survived by brothers Marvin and Loren and sisters Janet (Sis) and Mona.

She was a 1955 graduate of Bedford High School. She was a homemaker, farm wife and was known for her beautiful flower garden. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4-8 PM and on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford with Pastor Bill Shrout officiating.

Internment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
