Larry D. "Tub" Milburn

Mr. Larry D. “Tub” Milburn, 70 of Cumberland Road, Bedford, died at 10:45 AM. Monday, May 31, 2010 at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Milburn was born in Dutch Corner on Saturday, September 9, 1939, the son of the late Donald and Ruby (Defibaugh) Milburn.
On October 1, 1960, in Cumberland, MD, Tub married his high school sweetheart, the former Cass Sciranko.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by Daughter- Lisa wife of Mark Zimmerman, Bedford; Son- Larry husband of Deanne (Jones) Milburn, Macungie; Granddaughter- Ashley Zimmerman, New Paris; Grandson- Justin Zimmerman, Bedford; Granddaughter- Halee Milburn, Macungie; Grandson- Brett Milburn, Macungie; Sister- Judy Bagley, Bedford; Sister- Janet wife of Dennis Clark; Sister- Linda Hanks, Bedford; Sister- Doris “Skip” Snavely, Bedford.
Mr. Millburn was employed for Deist Cleaners and Stanley R. Carberry before starting his own plumbing & heating business in 1974. He retired in January of 2004. Mr. Milburn enjoyed building and restoring hot rods and classic vehicles. He was a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 3rd, 2010 with Rev. Donald Raffensperger officiating. Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial park.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home
