Mr. Larry W. Claycomb, 70, of Press Road, Bedford died at 3:17 PM, Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Claycomb was born in Bedford on Thursday, July 16, 1942, the son of the late Alvie and Lillian Mae (Whitfield) Claycomb.
On October 15, 1966, he married Sandra J. (Gingerich) Claycomb. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Kimberly Ann wife of James Amick, Roaring Spring; Son- Larry W. Claycomb, Jr., Bedford; Brother- Donald Claycomb, Bedford; Sister- Penny Pricer, New Paris. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Jordan and Miranda Gustkey. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ada Mowery, Eve Louise Hillegass and Anna Belle Huntsman
Larry attended Temple University in Philadelphia, where he earned his license as an Assistant Breumeister. He was employed as a security guard for Blue Triangle Hardwood until his retirement in 2007..
A Memorial Service will be held at Yeager Lutheran Church, Rainsburg at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:30 at the church.
