Mr. Kenneth R. Greise, 67, of Orchard Hollow Road, Manns Choice died Wednesday, May 14th, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Greise was born in Cumberland on Friday, January 10, 1947,  the son of the late John Richard and Freda L. (Robinette) Greise.

On June 19, 1971, he married Fay L. (Replogle) Greise.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Wendy S. wife of  Tom Diehl, Schellsburg; Son- Brian R. Greise and fiancee Jeannie Whitehead, Manns Choice; two granddaughters, Kelsey & Kayla Diehl; Brother- Joseph husband of  Madine Greise, Little Rock, AR; Sister- Sueanne wife of  Don Turner, Bedford; Sister- Sandra Barr, Altoona; Sister-in-Law- Karen Greise, Bedford; Uncle- Fred Robinette, Florida; Father & Mother In Law- Donald "Pete" & Lillian Replogle, Manns Choice. He was preceded in death by his brother, Danney.

Ken was a 1967 graduate of Bedford High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a truck driver for U.C. McQuade in Johnstown for 17 years and retired from the maintenance department of the Vo-Tech after nine years of employment.  Ken was a life member of the VFW Post #4440 in Schellsburg and a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 17th, 2014  with Rev. Mark Griffith officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park. Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
