Kathryn A. (Moriarty) Gatins

Mrs. Kathryn A. Gatins, 95, of Naperville, IL died Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Naperville, IL.

Mrs. Gatins was born in Washington, DC on Saturday, October 13, 1917,  the daughter of the late Leo and Isabel (Fitzgerald) Moriarty.

On November 24, 1939, she married George D. Gatins.  He preceded her in death on September 2, 1986.

She is survived by  Daughter- K. Eileen wife of  Clinton Leslie, Woodridge, IL; Son- Thomas R. widower of  Dee Gatins, St. Charles, IL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and a number great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughter, Patricia J. Gatins and Ann Marie Hunt, a sister, Leah Breen and a brother, Hugh Moriarty.

Mrs. Gatins was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Darien, IL.  She was formerly employed as a receptionist in Washington, DC.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 with Father George Jakopac celebrant.

Committal Services will be held at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
