Kathleen L. (Jones) Isenberger

Mrs. Kathleen L. Isenberger, 94, of S. Richard St., Bedford, formerly of Chambersburg, passed away at 6:57 AM, Monday, January 7th, 2013 at her home that she shared with her niece.

Mrs. Isenberger was born in Fayetteville on Tuesday, June 4, 1918,  the daughter of the late Crist and Ruth (Ryder) Jones.

In 1975, she married Leo "Babe" Isenberger.  He preceded her in death on September 21, 2008.

She is survived by  Niece- Dr. Ruth D. Jones, Bedford; Step Daughter- Joan L. wife of  Larry Stains, Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Jones

Mrs. Isenberger was a lifelong member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.  She was employed at Hennessy Products in Chambersburg.  Mrs. Isenberger enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was skilled at games of trivia.  She was a talented quilter and also accomplished in both needlepoint and crocheting.  She was a spirited woman with a quick-witted mind and a generous heart who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 with Pastor Raymond Short officiating.

Interment will be held at  Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford and Thursday 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
