Kathleen R. Holderbaum

Ms Kathleen R. Holderbaum, 93, of Bedford, formerly of New Paris, died at 12:00 PM, Sunday, April 28th, 2013 at Colonial Courtyard.

Ms Holderbaum was born in New Paris on Saturday, May 24, 1919,  the daughter of the late George H. and Bess (Otto) Holderbaum.

Kathleen is survived by her cousins, Dora Holderbaum, Rodney & Laura Holderbaum and their son, Matthew and Michael & Kathy Gaffney and their sons, Christopher and David, all of Camp Hill.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Mabel E. Holderbaum.

Kathleen was a member of the New Paris United Methodist Church where she was formerly the church treasurer for 30 years.  She was retired from R.E. Shaffer and Son in New Paris where she had been employed as a secretary.  Kathleen was also the Napier Township Auditor for ten years.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 with Rev. Ralph Landis officiating.

Interment will be held at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
