Kathleen S. (Ranels) Catanese

Mrs. Kathleen S. Catanese, 86, of Business 220, Bedford, died at 8:40 PM, Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Catanese was born in New Buena Vista on Saturday, July 2, 1927, the daughter of the late George and Lulu Mae (Keller) Ranels.
On August 14, 1951, she married William R. Catanese. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1994.
She is survived by Daughter- Rose Marie Hann, Altoona; Granddaughter- Tara Kay wife of Terry Claybaugh, Bedford; Granddaughter- Nora Marie wife of John Heister, Everett; Granddaughter- Carrie Mae wife of Paul McVicker, Painesville, OH. , ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Ben, Clyde and Elroy and by four sisters, Emma Rowser, Mary Robinette, Nellie Boozer and Flora Carroll
Kathleen was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and bird watching. Kathleen loved her baby, "Bubbles", her toy poodle and she loved spending time with her family and friends
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 with Father Richard Tomkosky officiating.
Committal Service will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
