Julia C. Bruck (Lockard) Salvato

Julia (Bruck) Salvato, 97, a resident of Wayne Woodlands Manor,  Waymart, PA and formerly of Wilmington, DE and Bedford County, died on Sunday, August 9,  2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born on December 8, 1917 in Hanover, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Merle and Emma (Clapper) Lockard.  Julia was a cook at several restaurants before her retirement.

She is survived by her sons Kenneth E. Bruck of Mechanicsburg, PA and James A. Bruck of Honesdale, PA; sisters Marie Newman, Elizabeth  Edwards, Ollie Brown, and Adeline Piraino; 7 grandchildren, 8 great  grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy L. Eubanks and her husbands, Herbert A. Bruck, Floyd Clark, and John Salvato

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13th at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, 330 E. Pitt St. Bedford at 11am with Rev. Jenny Barnes officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:00 Am – 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bedford.
