Mrs. Judith M. Eicher Custer,73, of Hyndman Road, Manns Choice, died at 2:25 AM , Monday, October 12th, 2015 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Custer was born in Johnstown on Monday, December 15, 1941, the daughter of the late Robert W. Margaret (Uhland) McIlnay.
On April 1, 2000, she married Dorsey "Lee" Custer. In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Mary M. Teeter, Hyndman; Daughter- Nancy K. wife of Robert Brumbaugh, Martinsburg; Son- David T. Smith, Claysburg; Daughter- Michelle L. wife of Cletus "Ley" Imler, Bedford; Step Son- Thomas J. Custer, Hagerstown, MD; Brother- Tom husband of Angie McIlnay, Holidaysburg. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Smitty" Smith step-son, Dorsey L. Custer, Jr. & son-in-law, Denny Teeter.
Judy was a licensed real estate agent and previously owned and operated Judy Eicher Realty, She also worked for Classic Real Estate in Altoona and most recently for Bedford County Realty. Judy was a member of the Bedford Moose, the Bedford American Legion Auxiliary & the New Baltimore Sportsman's Club. She was a lifetime auxiliary member of the Bedford VFW. Judy was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend and she will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.
Interment will be held at Milligans Cove Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
