Joyce L. (Roudabush) Bence

Mrs. Joyce L. Bence, 77, of Willow Brook Lane, Bedford, answered her Heavenly Father's call to come Home on Monday, November 14th, 2016 from her residence.

Mrs. Bence was born in Queen on Monday, December 12, 1938,  the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Ritchey) Roudabush.

On April 13, 1957, she married J. Roy Bence.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- David Roy Bence, Bedford; Daughter- Sharon L. wife of Michael Herline, Bedford; Daughter- Donna K. wife of Kenneth Gibbs, Bedford; Granddaughter- Janeen and husband Chris Ulicne; Granddaughter- Megan and husband Joe Utz; Grandson- John Waller; Great Granddaughter- Myla; Brother- William husband of  Carol (Duppstadt) Roudabush, Bowie, MD.  She was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry Dean, a brother, Jackie and a sister, Janet.

Joyce was affiliated with the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.  She was a homemaker and for 56 years, she co-owned and operated Bence's Farm Equipment with her husband, J. Roy. Joyce also was a former hospital volunteer.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed

A funeral service will be held at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, Fishertown at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.
