Joshua L. Thorpe, 21, of Glade Pike, Buffalo Mills, died at 6:42 AM, Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at his home.

Joshua was born on May 20, 1989 in Somerset. He was reared by and lived in the home of his grandmother, Pauline (Smith) Will of Buffalo Mills and his step-grandfather, the late Fred Will.

He was the biological son of Christopher Thorpe of Buckhannon, WV and Michele M. (Leonard) Kiser and husband Elroy of Berlin.

In addition to his Grandmother Pauline and his biological parents, he is survived by Grandfather- Bruce Leonard, Jr. and wife Linda, Manns Choice; Paternal Grandparents- Joyce and Ray Thorpe, Buckhannon, WV; Uncle- Brian husband of Mandy Leonard, Central City; Aunt- Carrie Harsh, Buckhannon, WV; Uncle- Greg Thorpe; Step Brother- Brent Will, Enola; Step Brother- Shawn Will, Pittsburgh; Half Brother- Bobby Kiser, Berlin; Special Friend- Jill Fetter, Buffalo Mills. Josh is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his Step-grandfather Fred, he was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Bernard and Olive Smith and Bruce and Monica Leonard

Josh was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore. He was a 2007 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and a member of the New Baltimore Sportsman's Club.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, New Baltimore at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 29th, 2011 with Father George Jakopac, celebrant.

Committal Services will be held at St. John's Cemetery, New Baltimore.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2:00 - 9:00 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg where a vigil for the deaceased will be held at 8:00 PM.
