Joseph E. Price, Sr.

Mr. Joseph E. Price, Sr., 70, of Rabbit Lane, Bedford, passed away at 8:58 AM, Thursday, October 8th, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Price, Sr. was born in  Bedford on Tuesday, November 21, 1944, a son of the late Andrew L. and Marie (Foor) Price .

On February 14, 1993, he married Phyllis L. (Adams) Price.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Joseph E. Price, Jr. husband of  Debra, Florida; Son- Scott Price companion of Rodonna, Bedford; Daughter- Michelle wife of  Tony Spiecher, New Baltimore; Grandchildren- Aleesha & Carrigan Spiecher, Amanda (Price) Bollman & Dillon Price; Great Grandson- Mason James; Sister- Joann Foor, Bedford; Sister- Doris Jean wife of  Harry Diehl, Bedford; Special Nephew- Steve Foor, whom he was raised as a brother, Bedford & Nephew- Patrick Diehl, Dudley.

Joe was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Bedford.  He was a 1962 graduate of Bedford High School.  Joe worked as an operator at Standard Register for 29 yeas and then retired from JLG.  He owned and operated his own business selling Harmon Stoves.  Joe was a member of the NRA and the Everett Sportsman's Club.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed going to the shooting range and shooting targets.  He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed by all

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 with Pastor Danny Diehl & Pastor Milton Morris officiating.

Interment will be held at  Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
