Joseph W. Lantz

Joseph W. Lantz, 69, of N. Main Road,  Breezewood died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Lantz was born in Bedford on May 26, 1950,  son of the late Charles F. Sr. and Myrtle (Custer) Lantz.

Joseph is survived by Daughter- Michelle L. wife of  Darrin Wilt, Mt. Savage, MD; Son- Joseph Lantz, NC; Brother- William "Bill" widower of  Delores (Weaverling) Lantz; Brother- Stanley A. husband of  Carrie (Mintz) Lantz, Kentucky; Brother- Rick R. Lantz, Bedford. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by an Infant Sister- Iva Dean, Sister- Norma Karns and Brother- Charles F. Lantz, Jr.

Joe was a Service Writer at the All American Truck Stop in Breezewood.  He was a member of the Breezewood VFW and he greatly enjoyed golf and was an avid golfer.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5-7PM  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019  with Chaplain Bruce B. Maxwell officiating.

Interment at Sweet Root Cemetery, Bedford.
