Joseph F. Ferguson

Joseph F. Ferguson, 94, of Sloans Hollow Road,  Bedford, went to his eternal home with Jesus on Monday, July 26,  2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mr. Ferguson was born in Bedford on September 29, 1926,  son of the late Earl and Elsie (Miller) Ferguson.

On December 13, 1945 Joseph married E. Pearl (Kegg) Ferguson. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2016.

He is survived by  Daughter-in-law- Ada C. (Smith) Ferguson widow of Carl Ferguson, Bedford. Joe was preceded in death by his son- Carl Ferguson, brother- Lloyd Ferguson and sister- Josephine Miller.

He was a retired Carpenter and Farmer. Joe also taught woodworking at the IU8 when it was located in Wolfsburg.

He was a member of Tulls Hill Bible Church. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 29th,  with Pastor Steven Corbett officiating.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
