Joseph A. Miller

Joseph A. Miller, 85, of Emerick Road, Schellsburg, died Friday, June 26, 2020 at Pennknoll Village.

Mr. Miller was born in Napier Twp.,  on February 23, 1935, son of the late Cubin F. and Georgia (Taylor) Miller.

On November 8, 1956 Joseph married Anna R. (Weyant) Miller. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2017.

He is survived by  Daughter- Jo Anna wife of  David Elyard, Schellsburg; Daughter- Anne E. Shaffer wife of  John Shaffer III, New Paris; Daughter- Rebecca G. wife of  Edward Bollman, Schellsburg; Brother- James Miller, Schellsburg; Brother- Thomas C. husband of  Catherine (Seese) Miller, Schellsburg; Brother- Perry I.  husband of  Arlene (Brown) Miller, Schellburg; Sister- Dora Ann wife of  David Smith, Schellburg; Brother- Dennis C. husband of  Sandra (Brown) Miller, Schellsburg. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother-Clay Miller

Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Army as a SP4 E4.

He was a retired Carpenter .

Joseph was a member of Manns Choice Church of God.

A Private Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Pastor Richard Whetstone officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery.
