John R. "Elvis" Logue

September 28, 1944 — June 4, 2013

Mr. John R. "Elvis"  Logue, 68, of Liberty St., Rainsburg, died at 12:10 PM, Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Logue was born in Friends Cove on Thursday, September 28, 1944,  the son of the late William Tracey and Lena (Hook) Logue.

On January 8, 1966, he married Janet A. (Leighty) Logue. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Roselee A. Stump companion of Joe Roman, Lancaster; Daughter- Michelle Lee wife of  Bill Clayton, Ohio; Daughter- Lisa K. Carnathan and her friend, Greg Oberle, Rainsburg. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Anthony Stump & Allison Carnathan, and two great grandsons, Zach & Ben and by three brothers and four sisters.

Elvis was a dockworker for Yellow Freight in Lancaster.  He was a member of the Mt. Joy VFW Post #5752.  Elvis was an avid hunter & golfer.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 with Pastor Don Harr officiating.

Interment will be held at  Wood Church Cemetery, Colerain Twp.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
